We are bidding
farewell to our Pre-K class at our special graduation ceremony on June
10. It is always an evening to remember! It is
quite touching to see all that the teachers do to remember the
children, celebrate with the families who have been such significant
members of our school (often through multiple children), and enjoy the
smiles of pride on the children's faces!
School is closed June 14-18 for teacher in-service and to prepare for
summer camp. Then, beginning June 21, our exciting summer
camp program begins. There are still openings in our
preschool camp for 3-6 year olds and in our "toddler camp" for 2 year
olds. Please see our website or contact the school for a
flyer that highlights all the exciting themes and activities...such as
the Wild West theme with real pony rides, Creepy Crawlies with a visit
from The Critter Man, and more!
Attached is a picture of our "Monthly Mitzvah" where we collected dog
food and supplies for a local shelter. Our last mitzvah
project of the year has been collecting non-perishable snack items for
the Junior League's backpack project. We will resume our
"Monthly Mitzvah" activities September through May of next year and are
planning our calendar now. If you have a suggestion for an
activity the preschoolers may enjoy, we welcome hearing from you.
We still have available two Pre-K (4 year old openings) and two 3 year
old openings for the new school year which begins August 23, 2010 and
that interested families should contact me. And our Open
House date for the new school year is Thursday, August 19.
Thank you!
