The Men's Club
"cooked up" quite a way to help out on Mitzvah Day. The guys stoked up
the barbecues and cooked burgers and franks for the nearly 200 people
on site. It was a lot of work (and a lot of smoke)… but we had a good
time helping out.
Next up for the Men's Club is our paid up members luncheon. It will be
held on Sunday, June 13th at 1:00 pm at the International
King Buffet on College Parkway. All of our members are invited. Please
RSVP to Mitch Kittenplan at 239-689-1794. If you aren't currently a
member, why not bring a check for dues and join us? We'd love to have
you there.
We've already started our plans for the Men's Club's 2nd Annual Yard
Sale. This year’s extravaganza is set for Sunday, July 25th in the
Dubin Center. We will be accepting donations beginning June 11th. We
will be asking for the support of the entire community to make it as
successful as last year's event. We ask for your help in donating items
as well as volunteering to help (both before and during the event). We
will be setting up a schedule to store, price and arrange merchandise.
Tentatively we will be meeting at the Temple on Monday and Thursday
nights, starting on Monday, June 14th. Why not pitch in?
