Our Judaism
As a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, we are committed to the principles of Reform Judaism and the highest standards of Jewish worship, education and celebration at every stage of life.
A relationship with God is sought through communal worship, Torah study and interactions with one another. Our weekly Shabbat services, filled with songs and prayers, resonate with every age as we read the Mishkan T'fila, the siddur of the Reform movement.
We provide a welcoming Jewish haven and extended family of the spirit, along with a sensitivity to the needs of interfaith families. Our modern, inclusive religious community offers to our God the gifts of love, care and concern for
each other. We are all created in the image of God and each life is sacred.
We are commanded to perform mitzvot, acts of kindness. We are to bring justice to the world. Our task is to acquire more and more holiness by the performance of mitzvot. As we gather together in prayer, we stand shoulder to shoulder performing tikkun olam, repairing our world together.
