The goal of Temple Beth El’s Religious School is to create joyful and strong Jewish identities and have Shabbat literate Hebrew skills. We use the Shalom Learning Curriculum which focuses on seven values: taking responsibility for your actions (Teshuvah), honoring the image of God in ourselves and others (B’Tzelem Elohim), using one’s inner strength to do what’s right (Gevurah), doing what you can to make the world a better place (Achrayut), seeking joy and being grateful (Hakarat Hatov), understanding the power of words (Koach Hadibbur), and helping to create a calmer, more peaceful world (Shalom).

Religious School also has many social events like Community Shabbat Dinners, Purim Carnival, Israelfest and Havdalah Movie Night. These events are a chance for Religious School families to meet and get to know each other. Attending Shabbat services is a great way to get to know your community!
We welcome new students and would love to see you at Temple Beth El. Call the Temple at 239-433-0018 or email Allison Fego, Religious School Coordinator, at religiousschool@templebethel.com for more information.
At Temple Beth El there is a vibrant group of families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers who come together for Tot Shabbat at 6:00 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. After services, we join together for a pizza dinner in the social hall.
