Confirmation Class

Confirmation class at Temple Beth El offers students in grades 7th -8th  the opportunity to deeply explore their Jewish identities. In a monthly, relaxed environment, Rabbi Luna and our confirmation students engage in discussions of big ideas, current issues and ethical choices, with enhanced focus on Reform Judaism. Students also engage directly with local organizations to make a positive impact while living their Jewish values.

Sessions may also include field trips to plays, exhibits and places of Jewish culture, as well as a class trip to Washington D.C. coordinated with the URJ’s Religious Action Center, all culminating in the student’s Confirmation service.
