This month of Elul has given us time to personally reflect on the remarkable breadth of disruption and change thrust on all of us. That is why we are so very proud of how Rabbi Luna, our staff and dedicated volunteers have continued to provide comfort, caring and compassion by keeping us connected virtually and spiritually through this difficult time. 
Our regular schedules and routines have been upended as we adjust to the changes that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused. Yet one thing remains the same:  Temple Beth El is here for you. Your Jewish community is here for you. Your rabbi and fellow congregants are here for you. Throughout the past five months, two Jewish principles have guided our work at Temple Beth El: Al tifrosh min ha tzibbur- “Do not separate oneself from the community” and Kol Yisrael aravim zeh la'zeh- “All of Israel is responsible for each other.”  Since Friday, March 13, when we officially announced we were suspending in-person gatherings, Rabbi Luna and the entire Temple Beth El community have worked tirelessly to ensure our community remains connected and strong. From Zoom classes, meetings and worship services, to Caring Circle emails and phone calls, to Rabbi’s vlogs, we are here for each other, offering inspiration and hope during these uncertain times.
Just as we can rely on Temple Beth El to provide us the spiritual and community encouragement we all need, now is the time to do all we can to support TBE and the sacred partnership we hold so dear. 
Your generous outpouring of support for the appeal and vegetation campaign last year helped us raise $127,000.  If we can join together and achieve this amount again, we will eliminate our deficit for 2020.
Rabbi Luna and the entire Board of Trustees have committed to making a meaningful contribution to the Temple Beth El High Holy Day Appeal. Please join us.
