Rabbi Rachel Maimin serves at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, NY campus, as Teshuvah Director and Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions. Rachel spent her childhood in Lenox, Massachusetts and studied at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French. In 2013, she was ordained at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York. Rachel served as a congregational rabbi from 2013-2022, Assistant Rabbi at Isaac M. Wise Temple in Cincinnati, Ohio, Associate Rabbi at North Shore Synagogue in Syosset, NY, and Associate Rabbi at Temple Isaiah in Lexington, MA. She is honored to be an alumna of the Bonnie and Daniel Tisch Rabbinical Fellowship.
